Questions

Is this the same as a CoverCrushing reader test?

No. The analyzer is an automated AI opinion and a set of image checks. A CoverCrushing test shows your covers to real readers who vote, which is the better signal before you spend money on a launch.

What happens to my cover image?

The size and contrast checks run in your browser. For the AI review, a small copy (512 pixels) is sent to our server and passed to an AI model for analysis. We don't store it.

Why is there a daily limit?

Each AI review costs us money to run, so each visitor gets a few free reviews per day.

What size should an ebook cover be?

KDP recommends an ideal ebook cover of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels (a 1.6:1 height-to-width ratio). Check the current KDP guidelines before you upload.

Does the score predict sales?

No. It flags common problems, such as a title you can't read at thumbnail size or colors that don't match the genre. Sales depend on much more than the cover.
