What resolution is the download?

Up to 2,400 x 2,400 pixels, with a transparent background option so you can place the book on any design.

Why does the spine look plain?

The tool only has your front cover, so it builds the spine from the cover's edge colors. For a printed spine design, upload a full wrap to your printer instead.
